I haven't seen Lisa since 1987. I was in Sound System with her at WSU during my freshman year. She was an instant friend and I was always happy hanging around her. She made me feel important as the young one in the group. I appreciated her friendship very much and I am so sad to hear of her passing.

Lisa, Thank you for being my friend! I feel so lucky to have had you in my life and cherish the many memories we shared. I think of you and miss you every day! You were such a wonderful person in so many ways, and such an inspiration to me. I can't help but think you are still the party queen and surrounded by so many friends who love you.I know you finally are at peace and happy, smiling your beautiful smile. I love you and will always have you in my heart and in my thoughts~~

I met Lisa in high school. She was beautiful, curious, kind and crazy then as it seems she was until this tragic event. My condolences to Lisa's family and friends in Utah. She must have made you proud and I feel lucky and blessed to have known her. She gave music a heart, head and voice.
