Not sure what to say?

I think of Lisa many times every month. I hear her laughter, remember her witty comments that used to make me laugh so hard, and now that we face difficult political waters I think of clever thoughts she shared with me. I miss her so much. I also feel her presence in my heart every time I think of her.

I was shocked and profoundly saddened to learn of Lisa's passing from the Dean's Office at Duke Law School, where she and I were members of the Class of 1985, neighbors in an off-campus apartment complex, and good friends. Although she and I didn't stay in touch after graduation, I have many fond memories of our time in the trenches in Durham, sharing laughs and anxieties during those three years. With this note, I send my condolences to her family. Lisa was a great gal and a whipsmart woman....

So sorry for your loss. I have kept up with Lisa on Facebook but am sad to say I haven't seen her in a long time. I went to elementary and high school with Lisa. She was a wonderful person that I know will be missed greatly.

Mike, George, and Lucy were so deeply cherished by Lisa. I have never known a happier mother. I know that each of you will miss her greatly, each in your own way. I know her great love will surround you forever. I, too, will miss her so very much.

We did not know Lisa well but felt she was a friend through conversations with George and Mike. Our hearts go out to the family. So very sorry for your loss.

Lisa was one of the brightest, funniest, and loving friends I know. She loved many as friends, and people loved and responded to her. I think this was because of the unconditional love of God that she lived. That love came out naturally from Lisa, and is an eternal testament to how deeply she believed.
I bid peace upon all who loved her. Especially her family, who she loved without measure.
Lisa, if its possible to see each other in heaven, I am truly looking forward to that...

When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.
Words fall short of expressing my sorrow for your loss.
