On your 3rd anniversary with the Angels in Heaven, I was in hospital, having a bone marrow transplant of my own. I thought every single day of you and what you went through with your own, all those years ago, and how much I wished I could talk to you during mine. Just one more BIG thing we had in common. I felt your presence a lot while I was in the hospital and it always made me smile and feel that things were going to be okay. I just love and miss you so much. Sleep in sweet peace.

My level of grief is almost inexplicable and is tempered only by the sense of relief that I have knowing that she is no longer in pain and will never have to be afraid again.
