Not sure what to say?

Lisa asked me to foster CockerSpaniel. We kept him for 13 years. He changed my life forever and my son´s. He passed away about a year ago. I wish I could talk to her now about fostering another. I think about Lisa´s generous spirit. And she was one of a kind. Love, Wendy

I see that Lisa passed away more than a year ago. I just went on the Cocker Connection and saw that she passed. We adopted our Cocker Spaniel through Lisa. I am SO SO heartbroken. Though we didn't get together much, we talked a lot on the phone. I am just heartbroken for your family and anyone who knew her. Our dog has had a wonderful life thanks to Lisa who I met at Balboa Park. My deepest condolences. Wendy Packer

Oh gosh I am so sorry to hear of her passing. I believe her to be my childhood friend and her brother Alex. I just ran across her and her brother on face book and friend requested them. My heart is heavy with grief. I will keep you all in my prayers. It's so hard I know for I lost my husband two years ago.Love,Sonja(Hardy) Bill

Lisa you were one in a million, with a heart as big as the world itself. This world is a little less brighter without you, but I am sure you are lighting up the heavens.

I was Lisa's Rescue Partner from Cocker Connection. Lisa was an incredible dog rescuer, and she was very devoted to the plight of abandoned dogs. She specialized in dogs who had mange, and she took them to the doctor and treated them until their hair grew back. She especially loved "diamonds in the rough", which were the most pathetic of all the dogs, and she would help them become beautiful and then find homes for them.

I have never seen a rescuer with such intensity and devotion....

You were an amazing and unwavering friend to my sister, Thea. Her life is enriched by having you in it. My deepest sympathy to Gary, Tara and Reed. Rest in peace Lisa.

I send my sincere sympathy to all of Lisa''s family and know that all your wonderful memories of the beautiful human being she was will help sustain you at this sad time. Sending love to all the family, Stana Cooper

Lisa, the last time I saw you was at the Reunion, even then you had such a radiance. You were a genuine and caring person who always seemed interested in helping others. You will be missed, may you rest in peace.

I was so blessed to have Lisa as one of my dearest friends for over 40 years. Her God given love, caring and kindness were a gift to all who knew her. Our friendship is something that I have treasured since childhood and I will always have Lisa close in my heart. I celebrate my Lisa's life for she lived it with joy in her heart and with an energetic, adventurous spirit. Thank you, Dickey, for all that you have given me and for all that we have shared. I love you my girl.
