Swartz Funeral Home - Flint Obituary

MCCLAIN, LISA – Of Flint, age 54, passed away August 18, 2025, at her residence. 


Funeral service will be held at 1pm, Friday August 22, 2025, at Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Chaplin Todd officiating.


Visitation will be from 10am till the time of service on Friday, August 22, 2025, at the funeral home. 


Burial in Flint Memorial Park.


Lisa was born in Blytheville, Arkansas on April 19, 1971, the daughter of Anthony Kellow and Lucinda Kirk (King). 


Lisa married Jerry McClain on April 8, 2014, in Las Vegas. 


She was a faithful Christian woman throughout her life. Lisa enjoyed nature with her husband, loved spending her time playing bingo and going to the casino. She worked at International Academy of Flint as a healthcare coordinator for many years. She loved working with kids, watching movies, going to church and spending time on the lake. People that knew Lisa would describe her as a strong and bold, simple women.


Surviving are her husband, Jerry McClain; children, Antonio (Eden) Ramirez, Jerry (Kristin) McClain, Kristen McClain and Katrina McClain; grandchildren, Ryder, Bentley and Sophia, siblings Chrissy (Lajuane) Grigsby, Stephanie Gray and Tommy Kirk. Niece and nephew Savannah and Chance Bigelow; stepdad Tom Kirk; mother-in-law Doris McClain and sister-in-law Stephanie McClain.  


She was preceded in death by her uncle James Gill, Aunt Leila Blakenship, Grandpa Herbert Roy Kellow, Grandma Mary Kellow, Grandmother Elsie King and Grandfather Bradley King.
