N. J. Hogenkamp Sons, Inc. - Minster Obituary

Lisa Gayle Meyer, 62, of Pensacola, FL, and Minster, OH, passed away peacefully on August 28, 2022, surrounded by her family at her home in Pensacola after a courageous battle with breast cancer. Born on June 14, 1960, in Norfolk, VA, to Jack Churn and the late Lorelle (Bell) Churn. Lisa married Gregory Norbert Meyer on March 26, 1988. Lisa is survived by her husband Greg, their daughter, Lauren, son-in-law, Chuck, and grandchildren, Avery and Lola. Also surviving are her father and step-mother, Jack and Betty Churn, brother and his wife, Robert and Jeanette Churn, and her sister and her husband, Dave and Jackie Copeland.

Lisa and her husband worked side-by-side for 25 years running their Cinnabon bakeries. After retiring from Cinnabon, Lisa enjoyed going to auctions and estate sales with Greg and she met many wonderful friends and found many vintage treasures.

Throughout her life, Lisa always enjoyed crafting; especially cross-stitch, sewing and the lost art of tatting. Lisa’s other hobby was decorating her home for the holidays and making sure the Christmas tree sparkled as much as she did.

Lisa will be laid to rest at St. Augustine Cemetery at a date to be determined. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure breast cancer fund. Condolences may be left www.hogenkampfh.

Not sure what to say?

Lisa was truly a warm hearted, welcoming person. Her sense of beauty came from within and spread out to everyone she met. We will certainly miss her in the Meyer family.

Lisa,
We became friends at an instant. Loved having you around the estate sales. The last thing we talked about was vintage Christmas stuff.
Please save me a seat at the auction house in heaven or the flea market!!! Love you!

So sorry for your lost. Continued prayers for you and your family.

Thoughts and prayers are extended to the Meyer family, extending our sympathy for your loss

Always had a smile. Very friendly. We will be greatly missed

Lisa was a wonderful part of our larger family. We will miss her beautiful smile and great personality. May God rest her soul. Love, Bob and Marcia

Lisa, I love you and I will miss you always. My heart hurts for Greg, Lauren, Chuck, Austin, Lola and all of your family that will miss you so much. You have been such a dear friend for so many years, even though we might not have talked often, we always talked forever when we did. I loved our talks! You and Greg were always so welcoming and kind to me and my family when we would come and stay. You loaded us down with Cinnabons and my favorite mochalata drink to keep me alert while...

Lisa you are loved and will be missed.
Love and prayers to all the Meyer family.
