Funeral service for Lisa Gail Mason Murphy, 46, of Somerville will be Wednesday, September 25, 2013, at 11 a.m. at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Stanley Reeves and Rev. Jeremy Wallace officiating. Burial will be in New Center Cemetery. Visitation will be tonight from 6 to 9 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Murphy died Sunday, September 22, 2013, at Decatur Morgan Parkway Medical Center. She was born July 24, 1967, in Morgan County to Douglas Mason and Gail Reeves Mason. She was formerly a waitress for Mama's Country Diner. She was preceded in death by her husband, Darryl Murphy.
Survivors include one son, Richie Murphy of Somerville; one daughter, Savannah Murphy of Somerville; parents, Douglas and Gail Reeves Mason of Somerville; two brothers, Jeff Mason and Tony Mason (Susan), both of Somerville; one sister, Crystal Barbee (Charlie) of Hartselle; and caregiver, April Williams.
Pallbearers will be friends and relatives.

Lisa I love you so much and I miss you so bad ur not only just my sister but my best friend and I dont know what to do without you. I know ur with Darryl now and safe in the arms of Jesus with no pain and knowing that is all that keeps me going. I love both of you with all my heart. And will miss you till we meet again....
