Frankenmuth, Michigan
Samson-Moore, Lisa Frankenmuth, MI Early in the morning of August 30, 2016 Lisa Lynn Samson-Moore died and went to her heavenly home as a result of a hit and run accident. She died doing the two things she loved the most---praying and jogging. Lisa was a loving mother, daughter, sister and friend who openly shared her faith in God and the importance of having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. She always considered that her biggest blessings in life were her three sons who now survive her: Austin (23), Parker (20) and Joshua (17) who all reside in Frankenmuth. Lisa was born in Saginaw on November 13, 1966 to Wayne and June Samson (Frankenmuth), the youngest of their four children. While attending Frankenmuth High School, Lisa participated in Venner, cheerleading, and graduated in the top 10 in her class. She went on to study at Delta College for two years and in 1990 graduated from Northwood Institute with a Bachelor's degree in Marketing. For many years, Lisa attended the Frankenmuth United Methodist Church and was active in the youth group. More recently she was a member of Trinity Assembly of God and sang on their worship team. In addition to her sons and parents, Lisa is survived by siblings: Andrea (Dave) vonBehren, Commerce Township; Randy (Martha) Samson, Frankenmuth; and Tina Samson, Frankenmuth. Other surviving family members include her nieces: Jamie (Brett) Swindle, Atlanta, GA; Brittany (Reid) Straith, Waterford; Briana vonBehren, Commerce Township; Olivia (Keaton) Dungey, Frankenmuth; Bridget Samson, Boise, ID; Abi and Margo Samson, both of Frankenmuth. Natalie and Evan Samson (Frankenmuth) both predeceased her. Funeral services will take place on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at 12:00 p.m. at Trinity Assembly of God, 4363 W. Mt. Morris Road. Pastor Rob King will officiate. Lisa's family will receive visitors at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin St. on Friday, September 2, 2016 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Saturday, September 3, 2016 at church from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. In Lieu of flowers, those planning expressions of sympathy may wish to consider memorials to the Underground Railroad of Saginaw County. Please sign our guest book or share an online condolence with the family at www.cederbergfh.com.

I was blessed to be Lisa's friend for only a short time. She was as much a source of strength for me as I was for her. Love you, Lisa.
