Not sure what to say?

Your Mom and Dad sure do miss you. As we grow older, having our sweet daughter close by would mean so much to us. I turned 80 this last week and Dad's 83 is coming up in May. We think of you every day and talk to you in our living room, your urn is on your display ladder, so you are constantly with us. The boys have turned out to be two sweethearts, just like their Mom. We talk on the phone about once a month with each of them. Joe has turned into a major investment banker investing his...

It is the 8th anniversary since we lost our beautiful daughter. We talked to David Swanson yesterday and he continues to do well living with Lisa's right lung. He expressed his love and appreciation to Lisa for the gift of life for him and his children and extended family. Lisa is still with us in spirit and she resides with us at our home. We talk to her every day and she shares our lives. We will miss you for the rest of our lives. We pray that you and Woody are in a happy place. ...

It was 7 years ago that we lost the light of our lives. A painful time to be sure but we have adjusted to her being gone from us. I have read through so many of the very sweet letters sent from friends and loved ones who were so kind to remember her at the time of her passing. We still wonder why God would take such a wonderful, loving and useful person in the prime of her life but we can't know the answer to that now. Lisa saved the lives of many people but especially David Swanson,...

Hi to our sweet girl on what is her 49 th birthday. We got a call from Joey on Thursday, he is doing okay. We didn't get to talk to Jake, he was busy playing with his friends as usual. Real social butterfly. Andy brought them to Longview yesterday to visit your grave for your birthday. They wanted to stop to see us but I was sick so we will get together in a couple of weeks. I am anxious to see the boys, it has been quite a while. It was last December that we saw them last.
We miss...

Hi honey,
We had such a nice weekend. It was your daddy's 77th birthday on Sunday along with Mothers Day. We brought pink roses and baby's breath out to you on Sunday. We ate at Red Lobster on Saturday, you know how your Dad loves his shrimp and crab legs, so he enjoyed it so much.
Joey called us on Thursday. He is doing good in school, getting interested in girls ! He was studying his German language homework as he visited with us. Jake was at a friends house playing, so we...

Sweetheart, by now you have probably met up with your Aunt Diane in Heaven. She passed on March 31, just 2 months after her 70 th birthday. We are thankful she didn't suffer for long, although to die so quickly was a shock. We think of you every day and miss you so much. Next week is Bill and Ann's 20 th anniversary and Dad and I were talking about how much fun we all had at the wedding. You danced with Andy and Uncle Sam, so cute ! Danced the YMCA song, adorable. I'm thankful that you...

Dearest Lisa,
We have some sad news to tell you. Your Aunt Diane has been diagnosed with Ovarian cancer. She is trying to keep a positive outlook but faces an uphill battle. Your Dad and I are very upset that this has happened to her. We will keep her in our prayers as we know you will too. We miss our sweet girl every day. We hear from David and Sharon often and both are doing well. Joe and Jacob are going to visit with your brothers and their families during Spring break. I'm...

To our darling daughter,
We had a thrilling time visiting with your boys on Dec. 23. Andy brought them here for a few hours and we loved seeing them and they seemed to love seeing us. We took them out to see you and to put flowers on your grave. We had 4 hours with them which was very much appreciated. Joey has a weekend job working at Kroger, which made us very proud of him. He is growing into a fine young man, you would be proud too. Jacob is still the sweetheart he always was,...
