I was 2 years behind Lisa at MCHS and did not know her. She always smiled and said hello in the halls. I will always remember her beauty. I fell on this obituary by accident. My best to her family.

I just happened to read about Lisa
Ann Simms. I do not know her and had
never heard of her before today. I was
on the net looking for something else totally. I must say what I read about
Lisa indicates that she was a very special person. Some people are put
on this earth to serve others and
that appears that what her mission
was. I feel so hurt to hear that her
friends and family lost her so soon.
Obviously, God has his own plan.

I just found out about lisa's accident a few months ago. She and I became friends in the summer of 1988 and spent almost everyday together before she returned to UF that fall. I was new to the area and was a new local police officer. I met her at the hospital where she was working part time. She was by far the sweetest person I ever met even to this day. I have thought of her often over the years. I am thankful her life was so blessed!! God loved and missed her so much he called her home.
