I remember when I found out about Lisa's passing. It was shock & sadness. We had lost a truly great lady of the pain community. RIP Lisa, you taught me so much. I miss you.

This legacy just came to my email. I have been thinking about Dr. Lisa Stearns. She was, and still is, the only doctor that knew how to treat my pain from my rare disease. You are truly missed. My deepest condolences for your family and friends.

I must say there isn't a month that doesn't go by that I don't think of Dr. Sterns. It used to be much more often as she helped me cope with pain on a daily basis. Thanks to her help and the centers continued help I am focusing more on life and less on pain. I loved seeing Dr. Stearns and look forward to seeing her in the next life. Dr. Stearns was my pain physician for nearly ten years.
