Connor-Healy Funeral Home - Manchester Obituary

Lisa A. Tagalakis, 54, of Manchester, NH, died October 11, 2024, after a brief, courageous battle with cancer.

Born in Manchester, NH on September 16, 1970, she was the daughter of the late George and Aphrodite “Deedee” (Vergas) Tagalakis.  She was a lifelong resident of the Queen City.

She graduated from Manchester Memorial High School, Class of 1988. She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Education from Keene State College.

Her passion for education was evident in the seventeen years she spent teaching at Webster Elementary School and Manchester High School Central, where she positively impacted countless students. Later, she was an administrative assistant at Tekni-Plex.

She was a longtime member of St. George Greek Orthodox Cathedral.

Lisa was a talented artist, especially in painting and calligraphy. She found solace in tending to her garden, nurturing beautiful flowers that brought color and life to her surroundings. In her garden, she also cultivated butterflies, finding joy in their delicate presence. Alongside her love for nature, she adored her cat, Leo, and her faithful dog, Tobie, as she had a special connection with animals.  Lisa had an affinity for the ocean, and enjoyed trips to the beach with her fiancé, Ryan. She will be missed immensely and held close in heart always.

The family would like to thank the staff of the sixth floor palliative care unit at the Elliot Hospital for their outstanding care and compassion.

May Her Memory Be Eternal.

Family members include her beloved twin sons, Benjamin and Paul Fedor; a brother, Marc Tagalakis and his wife, Kristen Temple; her fiancé, Ryan Taglieri; and several nieces nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Services were private.

Burial took place in Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester, NH.

The Connor-Healy Funeral Home and Cremation Center, 537 Union Street, Manchester, NH has the honor of assisting the family.

Not sure what to say?

My heart is saddened to hear of the loss of Lisa. I have such fond memories of beautiful conversations that we shared. She had the warmest smile I had ever seen. My deepest condolences to her family and those who loved her most. May her memory be eternal.

The last time I saw you we smiled and nodded "hello" to one another. Today, I am nodding, "goodbye" and wishing you all the beauty and eternal happiness that the spiritual world has to offer.

I am so sorry to hear of her passing. This is the first I have heard of her passing. I am so sorry for her sons and brother. She was such a kind and wonderful person. I enjoyed talking and laughing when I saw her. My prayers are with you all. May her memory be internal.

I have known Lisa since I worked at the Water Treatment Plant. We have been friends for years. How shocked I was to hear of her passing. My sincerest condolences to all.

Marc, Paul, Ben, Ryan and Kristen, I'm so sorry about this unbelievable loss. Lisa had such a love of life and indomitable spirit. She was never happier than with her family. I was absolutely shocked to read of Lisa’s death in the paper yesterday morning . She was a superb teacher & a delightful colleague at Central. We would often greet each other at Glendi in the years since retirement.
