Dear David:
What a strong and valiant spirit Lisa had. Life wasn't fair for her, but she kept striving. She was an inspiration to me and my sister, who have faced similar but far less serious health issues. I admired her for her desire to work even before and after her second transplant, even when she was 'shaky'. Anne and I cared deeply about her. I can still see her gorgeous eyes and determined grin. Many people in her situation would have become bitter or withdrawn or self-centered....

Lisa was so incredibly funny during High School. She made our cheerleading games and practices so much fun with her outrageous antics and laughter. I am so sorry for your loss. She has provided many of us with touching memories. It was beautiful to hear how Lisa loves the Lord and how much you provided her with love and devotion.

Dave, just got your sad news from Chris Goodale, I am so sorry. Knowing that we both got married at about the same time, weeks apart, I can remember fondly what an exciting time it was for us both.
