Not sure what to say?

Lise was a kind, thoughtful lovely friend. She wanted us to flourish, as she did ... She had a wonderful thoughtful way of approaching life.

We met in the late 80's when we both were working on community activites. How many miles have been traveled, how many wonderful cups of tea we shared!

Lise was/is an inspiration. Lise was one of a kind and will be forever missed.

Lise was a stalwart proponent of all things maritime. She had a no-nonsense approach of getting her point across and a deft ability to keep you as a friend and co-conspirator. Aside from the waterfront, her greatest passion was Tom, an endearing partner. Her top mast light will long shine in our memory...

I was shocked to hear of Lise's very untimely passing. She was an extraordinary person to often made those rouns her better. The best is the joy she brought to Tom. We send Tom an the family our deepest sympathy and thanks for the wonderful tribute he wrote for Lise.

I really admired Lise and I am sorry that I will not be able to attend the service today. She was smart, analytical, fair and a tireless advocate. Her energy, enthusiasm and heart were wonderful. May she rest in peace and may her family find comfort in knowing that she was admired and respected.

Lise was a special person who won't be forgotten..always interested, always kind and forever passionate. She will be missed.

Lise was such a kind person. She will be dearly missed in Magnolia. Lise was very active in the Emergency Preparedness Committee and had such a passion for her work. She gave several presentations for the Magnolia Community Club, which were well attended and appreciated. She had passion and always had such a positive and uplifting disposition. Our community will very much miss her. She was a truly great person!

"To affect the quality of the day" in so many ways - and persistently! That was how she touched us all. Thank you, Lise.

I, too, will miss Lise. To me, she was delightfully tenacious, smart, wise, irreverent, funny, warm and loving. She cared deeply about so much and so many.

Lise was an amazing woman. She was a leader, and a servant. Something that is hard to come by. She was loving, a networker beyond bounds, knew everyone, spoke well of everyone. She was an encourager, advocate, and saw way into the future. She was a visionary, but referred to herself as a "salty dog". She was humble. I will miss her. Her love of life and care for others,is a mark of a life well lived. Bravo, Lise. "Well done, my good and faithful servant". Maria Daubenspeck Lancaster
