Not sure what to say?

So sorry for Dick's passing. We met in 1976 while teaching a Woodbadge Course for Scouting. He was a great Scouter and friend for many years. You knew when Dick was out of this tent. He would yell: "GOOD MORNING WORLD". Those words reminded us how small but special we are were. Scouting has lost a great friend. We need more Dick Barrows in the world.
David Harling, Council Commissioner, Cape Fear Council, Boy Scouts of America

Mr. Barrow was always a nice friendly person. We feel blessed to have lived near him in the same neighborhood just a few streets away. Heaven is receiving a good man. Our sincerest condolences to his loving family and friends. God Bless you all.

Sorry for the family's loss and a loss to scouting

Im so sorry to hear about the recent passing of Mr. Barrow! Although I didnt know him well, I certainly remember his frequent visits over the years to Britts Donut Shop! I was always impressed with Mr. Barrow. He arrived in style, dressed well, with his wide rim beach hat on! He didnt have much to say because he was ready to get down to business eating at least 6 donuts in one sitting! One day his friend told me that they liked to body board and I thought that was wonderful that he truly...

Dear Page and Ed,
We are so sorry to learn of Dick's passing. He was a true gentleman, a good friend, and a a real servant leader. I've attached a photo of the bench he made for us about 15 years ago. We will miss him a lot.

I am so blessed to have been a friend of your Dad, Page He was always sharing a smile with me coming out of church every Sunday. I know he is doing well in Heaven ❤
Blessings to you and the family Page!
Love, Sharon

I am honored to say that I had the opportunity to spend a day touring Mr. Barrow around the United States Capitol Building. From the very beginning of that day, his sense of humor and upbeat attitude stole the show.
Ive always believed that heroes were measured by the number of selfless acts they commit throughout life. By all accounts on July 11th, heaven gained a hero. Someone who selflessly served his country, community, church, and every other organization that he felt he...

Church will never be the same without your Dad in his spot 2nd row from the back with his bow tie, wit & smiling face! He was my hero for living life to the fullest & zip lining in his 90 plus years! Prayers for you, Ed and your family. He will be missed by many.

My deepest condolences to you and your entire family Page. May God surround you with His peace and comfort you with the love and care of friends and family during the difficult days ahead.
