Not sure what to say?

I knew this beautiful lady as Steenie, the daughter of our dear family friend Ms Bonnie Lou Holmes, whom I had the privilege of being raised by. Ms Bonnie was a second mom to us, a comforting friend to my mom through times of trouble, and I will always love her. Rest in Peace you beautiful, strong ladies.

Dr. Livesteen Carter and I met at Ohio University where she completed her dictoral degree. She was brilliant, respected by her colleagues and faculty. She was a thoughtful and special person who is missed today. I know she is resting peaceably. If a family member or friend reads this note, would you please call me at 404 401 5675? Thank you. Dt. Shirley Williams-Kirksey

How fortunate I was to have Dr Carter as my first principal at John F. Kennedy High School,
Observing her I learned how to run meetings with parents and students and get to the heart of the issues. after leaving Kennedy I ran into her several times and was always greeted with a smile and hello.

I am terribly sorry about Ms. Carter...she will be sorely missed!

Livesteen will be remembered as a tireless defender of democracy. She worked tirelessly for voting and equal rights, on behalf of causes and worthy candidates. Livesteen's dedication and enthusiasm was appreciated. She will be missed. Please carry out her traditions, so she lives on in you. Sincerest condolences to her friends and family.

I am truly sorry for the loss of Ms. Carter. May the peace that comes from God strengthen and support you to endure this difficult time. Deepest sympathies.

To the family, my condolences. I worked with Livestenn Carter many years ago and enjoyed our time together at John F. Kennedy High School. Wonder lady and memories. Rest in Peace Livesteen Carter!
