FLEMING Lizzie Ann Fleming, 83, of Manakin-Sabot, Va., died Friday, March 30, 2007. She was the daughter of the late Annie Dickerson and Albert Copeland. She was employed at Holly Farms (now Tyson Foods) for several years and retired from Philip Morris after 19 years of service. Lizzie was preceded in death by her brother, Thomas Dickerson; and sister, Ruth Atkins. She was married to the late Luther P. Fleming Sr. She leaves to cherish her memory, two sons, Luther P. Fleming Jr. (Sandra) of Bowie, Md. and Herman L. Fleming (Linda) of Manakin-Sabot, Va.; grandchildren, Darlene Conyers, Chantel Fleming (deceased), Luther P. Fleming III, Dr. Shantel Fleming, Brian Fleming, Linda Farmer, Janet Turner-Ezell, Rev. Frederick Winston, Jessical Roxanne Lewis, Gerald Winston (deceased), Sandy Simmons, Rachel Harris, and Herman L. Fleming Jr. (deceased); 19 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Ruth Carter and Nancy Fleming; two brothers-in-law, Junious and Steward Carter; two dedicated family members, Gertrude Trent and Mary Epps; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Remains rest at the Henry W. Dabney Funeral Home, 518 N. Washington Hwy., Ashland, Va. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, 12 noon at the Mt. Olive Baptist Church, Manakin-Sabot, Va., where the remains will lie in state one hour before funeral services. Entombment Greenwood Memorial Gardens.
