Lizzie Westegaard
Lizzie Westegaard, age 92, passed away on August 4 surrounded by her family after a short illness. Celebration of her life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 8, 2016 at Heritage Funeral Home. Visitation begins at 1:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 7, with family present from 3:00-5:00 p.m.
Lizzie was born on July 12, 1924 in Lennox, SD, to John and Flora Schriever. She was united in marriage to Earl Westegaard of Viborg, SD, on September 26, 1942. She is lovingly remembered by her daughters, Janice Margeson, Jean (Dean) Wilson, Jane Westegaard, Kathy (Jim) Holiway, Cindy Miller, and one son, Mike (Susan) Westegaard; 18 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl; infant daughter, Nancy; grandson, Ryan Miller; sons-in-law, Tom Margeson, Ron Miller and Richard Albers; sisters, Katie Blink and Toots Kahler, and brother, Kelly Schriever. www.heritagesfsd.com.

Lizzie - My Mom Too.
Lizzie really did love you the "most." Always caring for others more than herself.
Generous to a fault. Faith, family, friends (and the Minnesota Twins) were her priorities.
Totally committed to her husband, Earl, especially so serving him diligently during the last
few years of his life while he battled Alzheimer's. Fully dedicated to her family.
An example for us all. We greatly miss her already. We do take solace in...
