So sorry for your loss.
Even though we have never met we wanted to let you know we thought very dearly of your father. We first met on the phone when calling Elvi he would answer and sounded just like my father used to. He was very protective of Elvi and didn't let her be bothered by just anyone. While she was in the hospital I'd call both, just to make sure he was doing ok alone. Uncle Lou will truly be missed by us. He touched our lives with his wisdom, jokes, and humor. One of our favorite memories of Uncle Lou is how he loved ice cream. Everytime we visited him at the hosptial we would pick him up some ice cream (a pint). He would eat every last bit scraping the bottom of the container. He would look at you with a big smile and say "boy, that was good". He had his wit all the way to the very end and always kept us laughing. He is in heaven with Aunt Elvi now. We...
