Not sure what to say?

What to a lovely man and family. I travelled from the UK to Myrtle Beach to visit Lloyd and his wife Pat with my partner Margaret in 1991. They were a lovely couple. In no time I was playing gold with Lloyd in extreme heat as it was Summer there and Winter in the UK. I have fond memories of that lovely time. Lloyd would give you anything except his Whisky. God bless you and your family. Margaret is in a Care Home now but I'll mention I shared memories on this page.

I first met Lloyd in 1991 as I was a partner of his friend Margaret Rose Chappell. We stayed with Lloyd and his wife Pat. I enjoyed a game of golf with him. He was a lovely man. I held great respect for him Dennis King UK

To dearest Lloyd and Pat my heart goes out in rememberance of wonderful times with two unique and irreplaceable people. I love you and miss you both and remember you in my prayers always. May the Lord continue to shine His light upon you. Margaret (United Kingdom)

I met Lloyd with Margaret Chappel a friend in 1991. We stayed with Lloyd and Pat and I played Golf with him. One of lives true gentlemen and a joy to be with. Many a joke he told too. Sadly missed. RIP

Margaret Chappell and I Dennis King enjoyed a holiday at Lloyd and Pat's home. He will be sorely missed by all. RIP Lloyd

Mr. Chinnes had such a gentle caring soul. His loving nature was not only seen by looking into his eyes, but it could be felt from his soul. ALWAYS a POLITE GENTLEMAN in everyway. Not only did he listen to you as you spoke...but he heard the meaning your words. His peaceful spirit was always so warm and comforting. He loved his room downstairs and he took pride in telling you about his ideas of how the downstairs became a room. I understood because my father had our garage closed in back in...

I was shocked and saddened to see Lloyds passing in the newspaper. He was a gentleman in every sense of the word. Both he and Pat were the best friends I ever had. Kelly, Kyra and Kent, you had a dad to be proud of. Love to you all and to Pat

All three of my siblings were saddened to hear of his passing. He was our favorite principal. The influence he had on my life is evident as I chose to become an educator because of my memories at Myrtle Beach Grade School. He was such a kind leader. I am sure he was a blessing to all that knew him in any capacity. Deborah Haselden Brown

Kent, I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts are with you and your family.
