Not sure what to say?

I have known Betsy only a short time, but I can see that she is carrying on her father's strength in leadership and good character. I am very sorry to hear of your family's loss, and will hold you in my prayers...

LLoyd left the John Jay Homestead with an enduring legacy.

So very sorry to hear of your dad's passing! I wish I had the opportunity to have met him. So happy to know he knew my cousin Midge Longley, what a small world. Your dad was an amazing gentleman! So accomplished. I'm very lucky to have become friends with his beautiful and intelligent daughter. Thank you Mr Cox! May you rest in peace. Nancy & Stephen Mehrbach

I remember Lloyd as a great mentor and advisor when I was a young, green underwriter for Chubb fresh out of college in 1987. What a nice man, and a great agent. My condolences to the whole Cox family. Later, when I met my husband and future Father-in-Law, I learned that my dear Father-in-Law, Bill Webb was a Beta Brother of Lloyd's at St. Lawrence. Small world. Two great guys enjoying eachother's company now in heaven. My condolences to the whole Cox family.

Betsy - I never had the pleasure of meeting your dad, but he was obviously a man who cared greatly about his town and more importantly, the people in it. My prayers are with you and your family.

Sincerely,

I Am So Sorry To Hear About Your Loss. Mr. Cox Has Certainly Left His FOOTPRINTS In Bedford Village For So Many To Follow... To my old friend Jeff and the rest of the Cox Family. I was saddened to hear this news. I feel deeply for you all. What a wonderful father and husband he was. I have so many memories of times spend with him in our day! Best wishes to you all! Dan W. Catlin
