Not sure what to say?

I will always remember Lloyd Drecksel (Gay during the years I knew her) from my years as a fellow graduate student at the University of Utah. It's been almost 50 years since I left Salt Lake City, but I have never forgotten her wit, her laughter, her warmth and her wisdom. Thinking of her always makes me smile. She will be with me as long as memory lasts.

Single Memorial Tree

To the Family of Lloyd, We both admired Lloyd so much during our time working with her in the Department of Communication at the University of Utah. She was truly a caring and positive human being, and we thought the world of her. She always attended the Christmas parties that Emeritus professors were invited to, and it was great to catch up with her. Our condolences to the family.

Linda, Debra and Paul, I'm so very sorry for your loss. Your mother was a lovely woman and I'm so glad our paths crossed. She was the "cool mom" to the rest of us. Hold on to each other as you grieve.

I count my blessings to have been a friend of Lloyd when her grandson, Alex, and our son, Brendon, played basketball together in high school. She left such a huge footprint in my heart in the short years we had the chance to be together! She will always be one of my heroes!

I never met Lloyd, but have been blessed to know her daughter, Debra. What a wonderful non-conformist life Lloyd lived. Deepest condolences to the family.
