Not sure what to say?

Sunday morning on the way to church -- wonderful memories!

For all the good times Daddy -- we all miss you but know that you are happy and safe in God's kingdom

Thankful for the values and lessons you held dear and taught us by your example. You are not forgotten, but are missed every day. I love you Daddy!

Forever in my thoughts

I miss you everyday Dad.

There was never a day that my father was not there for me.

When the sun goes beyond the horizon he is not set; the heavens glow for a full hour after his departure. And when a great and good man sets, the sky of this world is luminous long after he is out of sight. Such a man cannot die out of this world. When he goes he leaves behind him much of himself. -- Beecher

Alton,
You may not remember me since we moved away from Walterboro in l953, but I grew up in the Ritter section, middle daughter of Lindsey and Annie Sue Crosby. I was reading online obituaries and was sorry to read about the passing of your brother. My thoughts are with you.

In My Pocket

I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.

My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.

They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.

Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.

But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.
