Not sure what to say?

I knew Stinky over many years, but only saw him from time to time as we crossed paths. He always had a smile and positive outlook for the future. I remember clearly when he was a young boy and his father had just built him a small gas powered go-cart. Stinky came driving fast into the hangar where Russ was helping me make a repair on my plane. He stopped Stinky in a high speed turn and told him in words I cannot quote here, that if he ever drove into the hangaar like that again, he would cut...

Stinky I remember you as the rudiest one in our class! You always had something up your sleeve with a big mischevious smile on your face. You made our classroom liven up. We were in the same classroom from 9:00a to 4:00p everyday for five years! Back then the furthest thing from my mind was to shed a tear for you with your passing. You know what!? I sure did!! Don't tell tooo many people, kay? I miss you already!! Now your pulling the same old pranks up there with that same old mischevious...

REMEMBERING STINKY
“I’m buzzing the house to let your Mom and Dad know we’re here…” was his trademark. That was forever cool. Other times when we were already home, more family members would fly in buzzing the house, “Hey Stinky’s the pilot!” He never missed a 4 foot swoop, that was a signal for having ground transportation ready for pick up. We always enjoyed our flights from Nome to Council and back. My parents, Steve and Kitty Pederson and the rest of my family flew many times with...

Stinky was one of the best pilots I knew. He would do a barrel roll even if you didn't want to-it was great! My Mom Dee and my Aunties always had stories about Stinky, laughing about what he did. He will be missed! Sincerest condolences to the family.

Stinky and Minnie both were so generous. I was just getting to know them both these passed few fishing season’s out at Nuk, so cute, when him and Minnie caught lots of fish, they’d send a messenger over to mom and dad’s camp and say “come get some fish”. So sweet. I started to bring them canning jars each season because I knew Minnie wanted to jar her fish. Even mom said camp is lonely without them. God be with you and your family.

Every time I seen Stinky, he would always say hi "Sweetie" in a very nice manner and always happy to see me, very friendly. Although, I never knew him. I have a good memory of when I was going to camp at Nook with my friend he was looking out for reindeer. And I know he was enjoying himself with other people, I'm sure it must've been one of his favorite past times. He had a friendly greet for us on the road. Good Bye Stinky, my sympathy to his family.

To the family and friends of stinky, long time friend of my parents. may God be with all of you in this time of loss....
