Not sure what to say?

I had met Lloyd Hovland at th 1st Fish & Game show at San Francisco Mosconi Center 1984. I purchased 2 prints frm Lloyd. "Gotcha" & "Bass in Flight". He said on "Gotcha" he was at Don Pedro res. and nailed th bass on that print. Weather that was a fish story or what but i bit hook, line & sinker. I frequent that lake also. I gave "Bass in Flight" to my best friend. We both have them on th wall. I ADMIRE them every time I walk by it. I'm sooooo sorry to get back In such a LATE time. REST IN...

As I was searching through some of my mother´s items I came across some of lloyds prints. My mother and grandmother worked for Lloyd´s Outdoor Company in Minnesota for many years. I remember visiting his office in Eden Prairie as a child many times. Lloyd was a beacon in my mother Debbie´s world. She painted with him and went on conventions with him -I know how much he meant to her. Rest In Peace Lloyd and my sympathies to the family !

My deepest condolences to the Hovland Family on the passing of Lloyd. I was browsing for info on two of Lloyd's prints, "Survival" and "Rams Thunder" thus finding out of his passing! I met Lloyd when he was in Milwaukee for an art show selling me the two prints I still have. He was a true gentleman!!

Lloyd was a great artist and a person with a huge heart. He will be missed

Lloyd, you were always so positive and happy. You were Tremendously creative and talented. I'll never forget your stories about basketball and when you first met B. How much you guys loved to dance and your trips to Minnesota. You were always an honest person and gave the best advice. You were always there to listen. Thank you for being such an amazing person, it was a true blessing meeting you. You will be missed.

Lloyd, you helped light a way for me through my difficult years. Due to my father passing at a young age, I was blessed and honored to have you give me away at my wedding.
I know God placed Lora and you and B in my life. I will always cherish my fond memories of family gatherings and trips, especially to Badger Pass in the old RV.
I still have and will always love your talented artwork. You are missed.
Thank you for being a part of my life.
