Lloyd "George" Lamm

I was so sorry to see that George had passed away. George and I served together in the Weapons Platoon, Co A, 1st Bn, 120th Inf, Wilson, NC from Jan 01, 1959 until June 30, 1967, date I transferred to Raleigh, National Guard. George was a very good soldier and excellent leader, and friend. He was section leader of four squads in the platoon which performed well during our many trips to Fort Bragg, NC. So sorry to hear this!! George will be greatly missed! George was a great American Legion and Bennett Optimist member, where we were involved also!! Praying for sweet Carolyn and the entire family!!
