Mr Lauer sounds like a great "salt of the earth" soul. What an honorable and selfless life he lived! I am sorry for all he and his family have endured. You are all in my prayers. Mr. Lauer sounded like an amazing, father, community member and all around great American patriot. So sorry for the family.

I read about this today. I am so sorry for your loss. I thank God for men like Lloyd Lauer who made this country great and that´s why I came here as a child with my family from Cuba. Thank you for a wonderful tribute to his life and for alerting us all about the way he died. I am so sad about this. God bless you all.

What a fantastic gentleman! There are very few left like Lloyd Lauer. He gave to his country, his community, his family and friends. McClusky is poorer for his loss. What a smile!!

I am so sorry for your loss. He was a lovely man gone too soon taken too soon.

My sister, a nurse in WY, sent me a copy of this, as my husband has been in long term care for over two months after a wicked bout with Covid (which I have had twice!). My heart shares your sadness, grief, and indignation. I am happy to know that I will get to meet Lloyd in heaven, and I pray for your peace and comfort.
