Not sure what to say?

Jim and Darlene grew a Special Bouquet of Blessings in my heart. As I helped with his after noon care. I enjoyed time listening to Jim´s "Special Music" and singing some of his songs he had learned in re- hab. Jim was a delight in so many ways. He always had a unique sense of humor. Jim always wanted to set close to the window, where he would position himself to watch the drive way and the clock anticipating Darlene´s return from a short errand. He loved Darlene, it was always pleasant...

Our deepest condolences to Darlene. We only met Jim once during his visit to Oberrohr 8 years ago. He was a very pleasant and nice man. We are so sorry that he had to suffer so much. May he rest in peace. Our prayers are with Darlene.

Our heartfelt condolence to Darlene. We have very good memories to the visit of Jim and Darlene at Simmerberg where Aunt Senzi was quite often in her younger years. It had been a pleasure to get to know him, curious to all the members of the Schwarz family of Oberrohr. I also met him in Michigan when I visited Darlene. We had interesting discussions and a good time. In God alone my soul can find rest and peace - Song from Taizé. May Jim rest in peace. Elisabeth and Martin Held, Tutzing...

My condolences. Dr. Lemmen was our family doctor when we moved to Muskegon and I considered him more a friend than a doctor. I have missed him for years.

Jim was a great family doctor, and a curious man. I have a rare neuromuscular condition, and he worked with researchers at the Mayo Clinic on my behalf in the late 80s/early 90s, and developed a treatment that saw me able to get rid of my electric wheelchair for the first time in my life. 30+ years later I have traveled the world over several times, went to college in Florida, lived in two other countries, and have done very well for myself professionally. His help with my medical care was...

I first met Jim in Sunday School at Westwood Reformed Church (roughly 1964). Jim was all the brilliant things iterated in his obituary. He was introverted -- when he did say something, he was invariably concise and appropriate. I didn't really get to know Jim until we started high school. Mona Shores was tracked (phase 1, 2, 3). Consequently, Jim and I were more often than not in the same class. It was in Mrs. Brooks' unique math classes (which ran four years) that I realized Jim saw...
