Lloyd always had a smile on his face and a kind word for me. I didn't get to watch him play Legion ball, but watched many great plays at the PD. Like all the Maders, he was hard-working and fun-loving, deserving of much respect. He will be missed and remembered.

Mader Family: Sorry to hear of the loss of Lloyd. The Maders were always like family to us and I have some good memories of spending time on the farm during the summers. Our prayers are with you.

Dear Mader family,
Very sorry to hear about Lloyd. He was a great guy and good neighbor when I was a kid growing up. The entire Mader clan was like a second family to me - he will be missed.
He will be in my thoughts and prayers.

Dear Mader Family, my deepest condolences for your loss of Lloyd. I played American Legion Baseball with Lloyd in the early 60's. I was shocked to hear of Lloyd's passing when my brother called me Sunday evening. We will keep Lloyd and his family in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Pat and all of the Mader Family. My Thoughts and Prayers are with you all. I will always remember and am thankful to Lloyd and the Mader's for allowing me to be at home in the Big House from my youth, to adulthood. I will remember Lloyd always.

80 hours a week, 7 days a week, only got a day off when it rained, and still there were times when we irrigated in the rain, counting rows, chopping button weed, those damn tubes and all that pipe, cleaning out the grain bins, mowing weeds and mowing more weeds. I think we even counted nails once, at least it seems like it. I did that with you for over ten years, and even it was tough and tiring, I miss it, and I will miss you too Lloyd. The closest thing I had to a father.
