Lloyd Stewart McDaniel

I had Mr. McDaniel at Eisenhower Je. High beginning in the mid 1970´s, in the 7th, 8th, and 9th grades. Then onto Mexico for 13 days, in the summer following the ninth grade. Great guy! Excellent teacher, and the patience of Job! My condolences to the family for their loss of someone pretty special.

I ran across Señor McDaniel´s obituary today. I had him as a teacher at Eisenhower Jr HS in the late `70´s. He was such a gentle and patient man. I never realized how "in style" he was with the Guayabera´s he would wear almost every day until I was an adult. I have a couple of them now because of him, and every time I wear them it brings back memories of him and his class. I was one of Senior McDaniels students back in 1984. I was able to go to Mexico that summer with the Spanish club and had a wonderful experience. He was a wonderful teacher who made learning fun.
