Not sure what to say?

Our mothers worked together as staff secretariers in D.C.. Lloyd and I attended Dunbar High School together for one year. I was the new boy from the north. He showed me the ropes. We became fast friends. His sense of humor and drawing ability gave his older sisters a fit. The world has lost a beautiful human being. My condolences to his family.

So sad to learn this. Lloyd McNeill was the very best art professor I ever had at Rutgers and so kind and funny . I also went to some of his performances in the city . Lovely human being. So creative.

A fantastic artist, who played laid down some heavy sounds -- HOME RULE -- https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVOJfbMowmE Rest in power ! A beautiful artist who made some serious sounds and made people more peaceful and focused.

I remember when he used to practice and play at Avignon´s Freres on Columbia Rd in Adams Morgan located in Washington DC. I always went to listen to him practice as a 13 year old teenager. I lived next to the restaurant/French pastry place. He lived in the area I believe Kalorama and Calvert in nw DC. I am truly saddened by his passing. My condolences to his friends and family. He was a beautiful human being as was felt in his music.

The first jazz concert I ever went to.. Rest in peace
