I was sorry to hear about Lloyd Merriman passing away. Lloyd was an excellent college football player, a very good major league outfielder, a patriot who served his country in two wars, and a gentleman always.

I have such special memories of pack trips with Lloyd and my husband, Walker Moore. It is with sadness and appreciation of a fine man that I send my condolences. Beezie Moore
