Lloyd K. Moyer

I have many fond memories of Lloyd from my days as a Montpelierite and parishioner at Christ Church. Lloyd was not only devoted to his church and his faith, but he was devoted to humanity. His devotion was and will always be an inspiration to me. I know that I am not alone in that.

Lloyd was one of the people I would count on seeing as I made my way through each week, both at Christ Church and at Shaw's...always kind, always warm. My family and I will miss his steady presence.

Lloyd was an absolute 'rock' for the Full Ladle Soup Kitchen. He was the first person we would see upon our arrival each week, and his quiet presence kept everything running smoothly. His garden was a delightful addition to the community. He was very kind and we miss him.

The mornings when I arrived early at Christ Church to supply, Lloyd would have the coffee brewing already and a cheery greeting for me. He had a gentle sense of humor and enjoyed exercising his mind in the group discussions about the day's lessons. I will miss him, and I know that I am not alone. (The Rev.)Mary Robb Mansfield

I too will miss seeing Llyod at the store and around town. He was always nice and had a very sweet smile.

I was saddened to find that Lloyd passed on..I enjoyed seeing him around town, and at Shaw's..Always friendly--He will be missed!
