I had the opportunity to work in partnership with Lloyd back in the early 2000's as part of the Mt. Hood Territory marketing effort which included efforts to support and publicize the region's rich culture. He was easy to get along with and very committed to sharing our regional legacy. My deep sympathy on your loss.

I learned so much about forest ecology and silviculture from this kind and creative man. In his quiet and humble way he was a huge influence on my generation of forestry folks. I´m so grateful to have known Lloyd.
