In 1959 out of Arvin High school and heading for BC to play football for the Renegades, I had the privilege of staying at fire station #6 and working as auxiliary fireman. I had the honor of meeting Lloyd for the first time he was a great cook with a great since of humor. I had many good times with llyod and the other firemen. I learned a lot about life ,expectation and working with others. Lloyd was a great inspiration. Rest in peace Lloyd, you will always be remembered.
