Not sure what to say?

I think of that hearty laugh that Bob could cut lose with often. It brings a smile to my face and peace to my heart as I think of the many conversations.

Aside from the wonderful man Bob was to work with (definitely one of the BEST), we are forever THANKFUL for his and Candi's persistence in a blind date that resulted in a 40+ year journey for us. Prayers and love to Candi and the rest of Bob's family and friends.

True cop

I have many memories of Bob with my mom and dad. He was a great cop. Bob will truly be missed by all who knew him.
Prayers and thoughts to Candi his wife.
Renae Thorson (Buley)

Bob Rice was a cops cop! He also treated people in our community with respect and dignity, while realizing humor could be a remedy to the challenges of the job. Bob and Candi helped mentor many young men and women at RPD and are significant architects of building a great police department. We are blessed with his friendship and dedicated service.
God bless

Bob was a great boss and fun to work with. Prayers and kind thoughts for his family.

Bob was a wonderful man! I'm so sorry for your loss.

i worked with Bob for many years to present. He was such a sweet, wonderful man who will truly be missed by all. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Candi during the difficult time.

Sergeant Rice was not only an exemplary Reno Police Officer but he was also a great example of a "true person" is. He taught many (myself included) not only how to be the best motor officer but how to be the best wearing the badge. Sarge, you are missed and you ALWAYS WILL BE MISSED! Thanks for being who you were.....you set the bar high! You are now 10-42....we have it from here.

A great man...prayers to the family...
