Not sure what to say?

...I was part of Steve´s first trip into office. Working with him was an incredible opportunity to learn the process in the political area...He was a wonderful, kind and caring guy and it was an amazing learning experience. Rest in Peace, my friend...

WoW, when I saw this I had a FLOOD of memories and I am sure they will last for days. So sorry for all in the Riford family. Those I knew a lifetime ago will always be in my heart and mind. Prayers go out to all. Butch

So sorry to hear of Steve's passing. I served with an Assemblyman from a neighboring/overlapping district from '79-'88 so worked closely with Steve and I roomed in Albany with Joan during those years.

So sorry to hear of Steve´s passing. I worked for Sue and Steve at Auburn Guernsey and they were wonderful people. They treated us like family

Wonderful memories of wonderful people. Sad they are now gone but what wonderful lives and contributions.

Sue and Steve Riford were friends of my parents Charles & Eleanor Hardy. Steve was very helpful when I was beginning my college career. The Rifords will always be remembered as family friends.

I´m sorry for your loss. My Aunt Frances Masson was his secretary and spoke of him often when we talked about Beacon. We would ask her who her boss was and she would say L.S. Riford. She passed away last year at 99 years old.

Steve and Sue Riford were dear friends of our family. When Steve was Assemblyman and Senator, Sue would design and sew special dresses for me called the Sookie Line that would be selling in the Children´s Department at Bergdorf Goodman, NYC and then she went on to be the founder of the Merry Go Round Playhouse. Both Steve and Sue were always generously giving and helping people throughout the community. My heart aches for the family. May the love and beautiful memories surround you with it´s...

Condolences to the family. Rembering Steve and Sue during my now, distant Half Acre Stage Stop days.
