Although Jay and I have never met Lloyd, we have heard what a wonderful doctor and man he was. Our sincerest sympathy to Bob and Deb at this time. Fondly, Bev & Jay

My mom "gerry warner of Twin Falls Idaho" just let me know Lloyd passed away. I have a fond memory of Lloyd. He traveled to Seattle in 1983. My wife, Michelle and I met Lloyd at the then Olympic Hotel. My wife was pregnant with our now 21 year old daughter Natalie. Lloyd answered all her question and allayed any fears she had regarding her prenancy.

One of my fondest memories was a trip to South Africa in 1998 and you were one of our traveling companions. After the trip you invited all of us to dinner and presented us with a 45 minute video of our trip. I play it often and hear your voice on the tape. You were so kind--thank you and God Bless.

Dr. Shields was the most caring and sensitive Dr./person I ever met. Thank you for all you did in the medical world. God bless you and your family. Your family was truly blessed to have had you all these years.

I am 68years old...started going to Dr Shields when I was 18...He delivered my children and then inturn delivered their children...
He was a fine doctor and a wonderful humanbeing..condolences to his family....thank you

Is this the same Dr. Shields who was an obstetrician at St. Joseph hospital? If so, my gosh, he delivered me! Thanks, Doctor! God Bless You.
