Lloyd E. Stringer, 61, of Topeka, passed away, Thursday, Nov. 2, 2006. He was born July 29, 1944 in Illinois. He lived most of his life in Texas. He served in the U.S. Army as a Military Policeman. He retired as a master sergeant after 20 years of service. After retiring, he worked as a security officer for Burns Security and Wells Fargo. He moved to Topeka in 1999. He was married three previous times and then to Marie Susan Baggett. She survives at their home in Topeka. He is survived by his children, Susan Elizabeth Stringer of the home, Samantha Walker, Julia Tatnayo, James Stringer, Kimberly Marie Stringer and Jennifer Lynn Stringer; and a great-grandchild on the way. Mr. Stringer was cremated. A memorial service will be held at the All Faiths Chapel at the VA Hospital on Tuesday, Nov. 7th at 4:00 pm. Memorial contributions may be made to Am. Diabetes Assoc. or to the Am. Lung Assoc. in care of Davidson Funeral Home, 1035 N. Kansas Topeka, Ks. 66608.
