Not sure what to say?

I was a few months ahead of Elder Tag in the Great Lakes Mission. We were in the Columbus, Ohio District with Elder Sid Paulson, his companion and my companion Elder Eric Church. We were the most aggressively, competitive and hard working foursome in the whole mission. Elder P and T worked close to the church, Ohio State University and downtown Columbus. It was always great fun at weeks end to compare who gave the most discussions and the spiritual payday, baptisms. Elder T was a spiffy...

I only just now found out about the passing of Elder Taggart. I refer to him that way because he was the missionary who baptized my father, mother and myself on September 17th, 1964 while serving his mission for the LDS Church in suburban Indianapolis, IN. Sorry to hear of Tag's passing. He will be sorely missed.

Dear Taggart family, you wonderful children and my dear friend Julie, I send you my love and hope you find comfort in your hurt. I miss you all as neighbors and friends.
Always,
Linds Richards

He was a true member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We didn't know he had cancer the past few years and wish we would have known to send him our love and best wishes....

So here's a crazy story about Tag Taggart. While attending BYU, my mother Dion Dittman went on a double date. She and the other couple somehow got on the subject of this great guy named Tag Taggart, how they admired him, he was destined for success, etc. At the end of the date, everyone went their separate ways. My mom eventually met my dad, and I was their firstborn, and they named me Taggart because they liked the name and liked the man. The other couple at the date? Mitt and Ann...
