THOMAS, Lloyd N. – Of Flint, age 76, died Wednesday, April 28, 2021 at his residence.
Visitation 10am-1pm Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint.
Due to Covid-19 and government regulations, only 25 people will be allowed in the chapel at one time. Mask, group capacity and distancing guidelines must be practiced.
Cremation has taken place.
Lloyd was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas on October 10, 1944, the son of the late Cecil L. and Ruth L. (Ritchie) Thomas. On August 8, 1964, he married Patricia Ackley and they were married for 55 years until her passing. Lloyd bred Beagles and was a member of the Great Lakes Beagles Club. He was an avid bird, rabbit and deer hunter. Lloyd was a Shriner and Free Mason and was a USMC Reservist.
Surviving are children, Tammy (Doug) Svinarich, and Billy Thomas;
4 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren;
Half-brothers, Leroy and Billy Thomas;
Sisters-in-laws, Pauline and John Gutierrez and Sandra Frost.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia.
