Funeral services celebrating the life of Lloyd Camille Trahan will be held at 3:00 p.m., on Sunday, December 31, 2017, in the Chapel of Hixson Brothers Alexandria, with Chaplain Sandy Brister officiating. Burial will follow in Alexandria Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service.
Lloyd Camille Trahan, 89, of Alexandria, passed from this life on Thursday, December 28, 2017, at Rapides Regional Medical Center.
Pallbearers are Claude Weatherford, Keevin L. Trahan, II, David Quigley, Brian Ambrose and Jason Ross.
During his working career he worked for Shop-Mor, PDQ-Car-Care (formerly Rapides Auto Parts), Huval Baking Company, retiring with 27 years of service and also retired from Flowers Inc. (formerly Bunny Bread).
He is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Hilda T. Trahan; son, Paul Gerald Hebert; parents, Alcide and Anita Trahan; brothers, Phillip Trahan and Camille Trahan; sisters, Aurelia Mire, Avita Anderson and Mabel T. Mouton and grandchildren, Chris Hebert and Chad Hebert.
Those left to cherish his memory are his son, Keevin L. Trahan; daughters, Cynthia T. Ambrose and Jennifer T. Weatherford; brother, Alcide Trahan, Jr.; 6 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends.
