Lockey M. Mitten

I am a close friend of Lockey's brother, Mike (Winston) Melvin. My older sister knew Lockey during their days at St. Francis Grammar School as both our families lived in Metuchen, NJ for many years. My deepest sympathies to Lockey’s wonderful daughters, her grandchildren and to Mike too..

I AM SO SORRY TO HEAR OF YOUR MOTHER'S DEATH. I ALSO WORKED WITH HER FOR MANY YEARS AND THE ONE MAIN THING THAT I REMEMBER ABOUT YOUR MOM IS HER LOVE OF DOGS. SHE WAS A TRUE ANIMAL LOVER AND HAD A GREAT DEAL OF LOVE TO SHOWER ON HER DOGS. I WISH YOU ALL WELL AND JUST KNOW THAT LOCKEY WAS ONE OF A KIND. SHE WILL BE MISSED.

Your mom was a wonderful person. I only knew her a very short time. She was a pleasure to be around. I am so sorry to hear of your loss.

I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your mother. I worked with Lockey in Williamstown many years ago and I'll always remember her smile & her laugh. I am unable to attend the service tomorrow but please know that you & your families are in my prayers.
