Read MoreEven though Tommie disliked speaking before big groups, she was kind enough to come and speak to my sports literature classes at Morristown High School on several occasions. She told us fascinating stories and I loved going out to lunch with her alone so she would tell me even more detailed things about playing baseball. I just got home from a vacation and I am so sorry I missed her service!
