Many years ago when I was 12 and my sister, Eleanor was 15, we would get on the bus in Pittsfield and go to Jacksonville to sing on the radio with the Prairie Pioneers. I remember Lois very well, she was nice, pretty and funny in her roles on the program. The band was always very nice to us and once we went to Fred's house to record with them. My deepest sympathy for the passing of your mother. Rod, I'll always remember you and your mom on your first day of school. You were dressed in a sailor's hat. I was in line after you with my daughter, Shari. I thought your mother was a very good person and someone you could always trust.
