Lois Lavine Clift

I met Lois when I was in High School and she and my mom became best friends. We lived right next door to each other. Lois and Don ended up buying a house on the same street I now live with my husband and children. My children have always seen Lois and Don and surrogate grandparents and it has been an honor and a privilege to spend many happy times with Lois, going to plays or just hanging out. I worked with Lois in the late 1980's. She lived at an apartment community where I worked, and took a liking to me - and came in one day and said, "we need a secretary at Corporate Risk, and I'd like you to apply." I got the job. I was lucky, because at the time, it was rare for someone outside of TI to get a clerical job there. She was hilarious. Lois gave me the best letter-writing advice, and I repeat it to others to this day: "Get in there, say what you have to say, and then get out." ...

My deepest condolences to you Don and your family. Although I had never met Lois in person she was a truly a wonderful person. It waw my pleasure to speak with her sometimes on a daily basis. It was genuinely a wonderful experience getting to know her. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
