Not sure what to say?

Miss Jo, was my bus driver for many years. She was one tough lady and I have many fond memories of her. She was a treasure and I doubt anyone cared more for children than she did. All children should have someone like her I. their lives. She is loved and missed. Much live and many prayers for her loved ones.

I have "known" Jo (as my mom, Anna Agee, calls her) since I can remember but through my mother. Jo was like a second mother to her. If not for Jo my moms life could have been on a very diferent path. Jo help her when she was very, very young. I am so thankful that mom spoke to her early in January. We just found out today of her passing and our heart aches for the family. Thank you Jo, you will forever be missed and look forward to seeing you again.

We called her Josephine and she was my mother's first cousin she would call my mother twice a day and they would talk for a long time my mother will miss her and I know Larry and Josie will. My mother's name is melvina and we send prayers to the family. My mother loved her and she knows jo loved her.

The West Virginia and Kanawha County Associations of Retired School Employees extend their sincere sympathy to you, the family, in your sorrow. Blessings to all.

My beautiful sister my friend my second Mom

I have fond memories of Jo when she drove our school bus. Later in life I had the pleasure of seeing her again in the Belle Woman's Club. I am sorry for your loss. Thoughts and a candle.

Sending Prayers and our heartfelt condolences to the family.

Jo was one of our across the street neighbors in 1960s-70s Belle, WV. My brother Mike and I spent many, many hours at the Coburn house and yard! Jo was also a good friend of my Mom, Jeanie. So many memories come to mind: Among so many others, I remember Jo always driving a big red Cadillac convertible during Belle Town Fair parades! I know we have an old home movie of that! She was always like a Mom, as so many parents were at that time. Our little home town is no longer nothing like it...

Mrs. Coburn, I never called her Jo, was one of the mothers of the bunch of, let's say, energetic, boys I grew up with on our side of Belle. She demanded we fly right and toe the line! All of us. No matter if she birthed you or not. I spent untold hours at her house with Rick, Larry and the rest of the crew watching her tv, eating her food and of course being looked after in no uncertain terms, her terms of course. From my current point of view, a great woman. I still love her and her boys for...
