Lois Neuberger Giblin

NEW LONDON, NH – Lois Quick Neuberger Giblin died peacefully at New London Hospital on July 8, 2025 in New London, NH at the age of 92.

Lois was born on June 24, 1933, in Brooklyn, NY and grew up in Middle Village, NY. 

Lois married Howard Neuberger, Jr in 1953. They resided in Syosset, NY where Lois worked at Fairchild Weston as an executive secretary until her retirement in 1995. Lois moved to Wilmot, NH in 1999. She was active in many organizations, including the Red Hat’s and Kearsarge Area Council on Aging (COA), where she was a volunteer driver and avid kayaker. Lois volunteered at the Lake Sunapee Region VNA & Hospice’s Memory Care Good Day Respite Program for many years.

Lois married John Giblin in 2001. She was an avid crafter and was often seen at craft fairs selling her lighted pinecone baskets.

Lois is predeceased by her parents, Ethel (Zimmermann) and Wilfred Quick, her father Norman Kessel and husbands Howard Neuberger, Jr and John Giblin. Surviving family members include her son and daughter-in-law Howard and Katheryn Neuberger of Andover NH, and grandchildren Melissa Dickerson and Krista Catwood of Portland Oregon and Brian Neuberger of Andover, NH and five great-grandchildren: Kim and Ella Dickerson, Caspian Soto, and Ashley and Damion Neuberger.

A mass followed by a reception will be held at Our Lady of Fatima, New London, NH on July 25, 2025 at 11:00 A.M.
