Lois D. Hill, 74, of Nauvoo, IL passed away on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 9:58 AM at her home. She was born on September 25, 1942 on her grandparents farm in Rural Arbela, MO, her parents were Robert W. and M. Philena Busby Calvert. Lois attended grade school in Granger, Mo and then her parents moved and she graduated from Ft. Madison High School in 1960. On October 23, 1964 she married Daril Hill at the First Methodist Church in Ft. Madison and was very proud she and Daril were married 52 years. Lois was a homemaker. In her younger years she worked at Sheaffer Pen as a commercial artist and also worked at IAAP and then was an elderly care taker in Morris, IL.. Lois enjoyed collectibles and going to the casino. She loved her dogs and spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband, Daril Hill of Nauvoo, IL; her son, Wade (Betsy) Hill of Ft. Madison; three sisters, Betty (Ron) Hunold of Warsaw, IL, Audrey Dietsch of Warrensburg, MO and Janice (Rodger) Butler of Port Byron, IL; a brother, H.B. (Jan) Calvert of Montrose and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter, Angela. The memorial service will be held on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at 11 AM at King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory with Pastor Jan Garza officiating. The family will meet with friends from 10 AM until the service at 11 AM. Burial will follow in Oakland Cemetery. Per her wishes, cremation has been entrusted to King-Lynk Funeral Home & Crematory. A memorial has been established for Lee Co. Hospice or PAW Animal Shelter and online condolences may be left at www.kinglynk.com

I remember all the wonderful memories...the time we came to Chicago to see and spend a night with you. We had an enjoyed & great time & also seeing you guys around & at Myers Court Yard eating.
