Not sure what to say?

Lois - I will miss you - from our days at Temple Sinai and Sinaites where we laughed, played, were in drama workshops, went to MAFTY - you and Eileen Berlin and Debbie Hotchkiss among others, Jimmy George - we had fun times but also went through some trying times with the MLK death related riots, RFK Assasination, theViet Nam war demonstrations, the first Earth Day - . We were there and we made a difference. And all along, you led us in dance, poetry and the arts to interpret and to find...

In less than a year of knowing each other, Lois and I enjoyed the special bond of mutual support. Lois was always generous with expressing her love toward me; she was a loving and spiritual soul. Lois was devoted to, and oh so proud of, her family. She blessed me with our friendship.

Dear Lois' Husband, Daughters, Parents, Siblings and Family:

I have many wonderful memories from our time together as teenagers at Temple Sinai and in the regional youth group MAFTY. Thanks to Lois, I spent hours doing Israeli folk dancing and having lots of fun. Her energy and talent truly inspired me. I send heartfelt condolences.

Oh Lois, what a shock! I have so many memories of you, me and my sister laughing idiotically at all manner of things; I even remember some of our crazy little catchphrases and expressions, like "Obnox" to describe well- obnoxes. I hope you're still laughing, wherever you are. You will be missed!

My condolences to you, Jerry.

Lois! I simply cannot believe it. She changed my life for the better--permanently--junior year in high school. We were fabulous college roommates, and she was a bridesmaid at my wedding. What a wonderful young woman and the dearest friend ever. I am devastated for Jerry and her entire family.

I am shocked to learn of Lois's death. I have so many wonderful memories of our years in MAFTY and friendship. My thoughts and heart are with you at this difficult time.

I am so sorry to hear of Lois' passing. During my high school years at Temple Sinai she demonstrated her great dancing talents and was a great friend.
